How were civilizations influenced by other civilizations in Indian ocean trade network?

    The Indian ocean trade network connected 4 major cultures in the world. (Africa, The middle east, East Asia, and South Asia).

    When traders from these different region met in the network, they witnessed the advancement of technologies and cultural products that created by each other.

    Over the time, cultural exchange occur among them.

    They start to exchange knowledge and develop a mutual understanding toward each other's culture.

    When these traders when back to their original country, they introduced the foreign culture to the people in their hometown. In the long run, more and more people started to adopt these foreign culture and mixed them with their own.
