Millenials or generation Y are individuals born between 1981 to 1996, who grow into adulthood in the early 2000's. This generation of individuals are in tune with technological trends unlike the previous generation (generation X) and are they are more diverse in ethnicity. The generation preceding the Millenials are known as generation Z.
