The Golden Rule in the Christian religion is the scripture from the book of the Gospels Matthew and Luke based off the rules from Leviticus 19. These set of numerous laws that God told Moses to tell the Israelites can be easily summed up in the book of Matthew 7; 12 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets". The same vein is seen in Luke 6:31 which says "Do to others as you would have them do to you."

This so-called Golden Rule of the Christian faith is also seen and taught/preached in almost all other faiths of the world. It is pronounced in a similar form, even though their belief systems and religious backgrounds may all differ. This similarity in maintaining a rule throughout all faiths is also what makes up humanity and the very essence of our belief systems.
