In the early 1860s, new treaties with the U. S. government forced Native Americans to leave their original habitats and migrate to other places.

    Explanation:

The treaties that were signed by France and Spain owing to the defeats against the United States in multiple wars majorly included provisions of ceding territories to America which were originally controlled by Spain and France. After the acquisition of these territories by the contemporary United States governments, numerous campaigns for the removal of aboriginal people from these lands were taken in hand. These campaigns were peaceful at some places and violent at some other. Hence, the Native Americans had to flee their original habitats and move to other places.
