    Urban: A area with all infrastructural facilities, amenities and better transportation facilities. With standard living condition in urban area population density is high. Poor people do not live here.

    Tenement: A large residential block with multiple number of flats and apartments. Here, some basic sophisticated services like gym, swimming pool, roof top garden, association hall, club etc provided in a same place.

    Slum: Basically in urban area in the core area refugees or poor people make slums. The living standard, basic hygiene condition is very poor here.

    Settlement house: A single house hold that may be urban or rural is known as settlement house. As it is built by the owner itself that's why its enjoy all the better living standards.

    Explanation:

    Urban area is characterized by more than 5000 people. Here >70% of people are engaged in secondary activities and the living standard is high so not affordable for poor people. Tenement is a residential block of apartments and flats with high class living standard. Poor people do not live here.

    Slum is basically occupied by poor people who unable to live in the urban area. Settlement house is in rural area or may be in urban area. Poor people can built small settlements with basic amenities in the low cost land by their ownselves.
