Two kinds of cell division are required

    Explanation:

Sexually reproducing species are formed by the union or meeting of two gamates. It is the process where new species are formed from two species. Here offsprings alternate between haploid cells and diploid cells. The diploid cells are divided into haploid cells and are known as meiosis while two haploid cells combine into one diploid cell called as fertilization.

While asexual reproduction is the process of producing offsprings from a single organism. It is a reproduction process in a single cell organisms.

Thus there are two cell division required for sexual reproduction.
