Explanation: A structured walkthrough is a testing technique carried out in the development process in order to encourage interchange of ideas between peers so as to improve the quality of the final product. This exercise is designed to anticipate and detect as many flaws and defects as possible by peers and discuss how to fix them so as to have the best finished product.

The walkthrough is an organised procedure led by a trained moderator while the developer is also present. It is seen as a formal way of checking the technical aspects of software development, detecting defects and fixing the flaws before a final product which is taken to market.
