The Georgia board of trustees legalized slavery and relaxed restrictions on land ownership in the early 1750s.

    Explanation:

The Georgia board of trustees has banned the import of rum, slavery and ownership of lands for the colonies under its rule. So the people of Malcontents were against it as they were unable to show their financial stability with the rum, slaves and buying lands.

They opposed this rule of trustees in 1750s. As the natives of Georgia were not financially stable, they depend upon the financial aids provided by trustees while the Malcontents people were self-sufficient.

So the people of Malcontents found this rule as a step to prevent their growth. Thus due to their continuous protest, the trustee board were forced to legalize slavery as well as relaxed restrictions on and ownership.
