How does institutions shape politics

    The literal definition of institution is "a society or organization founded for a religious, educational, social, or similar purpose." In saying that they all have a cause they stand behind. In the US politicians are often influenced by lobbyist. Depending on how well an institution can lobby will determine how drastict the influence they have on politics.
