    Jim Crow laws were enacted in the 19th and 20 centuries and were meant to enforce racial segregation and they were established in the Southern United States. The leaders of these laws were the white dominant groups. Public education was also part of segregation of black and whites students

    These segregation also applied to all other public facilities and transportation in which black had their own facilities to use and didn't have access to those used by whites people. Native Americans were given the most facilities with poorest conditions and whites will get best ones and people of color had no allocated facilities some of the times. Jim crow laws ensured that there was an institutionalised segregation of economic, education and social services for African American and other people of color.
