Analyze the development of political parties in the United States since the Founding by discussing each of the five distinctive party systems prior to the current one in American history. In your essay, be sure to highlight the origins of today's two major political parties.

    The republican party, is conservative-liberal, its origin was at the time of the independence of the thirteen colonies and is known for being more liberal, the release of weapons, free competition, private property. The democrats defend welfare policies, the defense of social movements such as African Americans, gays, immigrants, and state intervention in the economy. The origin of the political parties began with the Declaration of Independence, which freed the 13 American colonies from dependence on the British reign; thus forming the first continental congress, then, many struggles were fought in search of more political and economic rights, demanding from England for the twelve colonies (Georgia did not participate) such freedoms and, as a result of these struggles, the second continental congress was formed. After that, these settlers met once again, to demand their rights, and it was then that the demand would be the total rupture with England, was a very important decision that formed the so-called articles of the confederation, which gave rise to the first election for president of the U. S ... These articles formed the congress of the federation and the joint congress of the USA. The Philadelphia convention was created in 1787 to solve the problems and put an end to the conflicts of the former colonies, then, in 1787, the U. S. constitution was approved, where the indirect elections for president would begin.
