    Explanation: Social facilitation is the phenomenon that when someone like Ashley performs a task while practising, it does so differently than in the presence of the audience. There are various reliefs there, i. e the performance of tasks in front of an audience depends on the complexity of the task or the performance. When performing an easier task in front of an audience, it becomes even easier, while performing complex tasks such as dance and song at the same time becomes more difficult. When complex tasks are performed in front of an audience, it can occur that part of the performance is forgotten due to the fact that someone is watching and evaluating us. So it may be better to do the group practise, or in front of the group, to get in the habit of observing us while doing the complex task.
