80 - - 22 there is a double negative which cancels it out and turns it into a positive. So the equation turns into 80+22 which equals 102

Explanation:
80 - (-22) = 102 because any whole number minus a negative equals the same as adding the opposite of the negative which is the same number as a whole.
Its basically the same as 80 + 22
