    The three Monotheistic religions in the world are; Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The internal differences and divisions are explained below.

    Explanation:

    Monotheism is defined as the belief in the existence of one God. The three monotheistic religion in the world are; Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

    -Judaism is the ethnic religion of the Jews. There are different interpretations of the sacred texts. The Hasidic and the Orthodox Jews have different beliefs about one's acts under the Jewish law. However, reformed Judaism movement allows for changes in faith such as equality among both men and women.

    -Christianity is also a monotheistic religion, it is based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians believe Jesus is the true son of God and the second person in trinity. However, there are many denomination in Christianity and each of them have their own practices and doctrines which they follow. Examples of the denominations are; Seventh Day Adventist (they believe Saturday is the day of worship), Pentecostal (they believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost), others are; Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians e. t. c

    -Islam is a monotheistic religion, they believe there is only one God and Prophet Muhammad is His messenger. Islam means surrender or submission to God's will. Islam has two major groups which are Sunni and Shi'a Islam. Their main difference is in who they believe is to lead the Islamic community. The Shiites (Shi'a Islam) give importance to Ali, they believe he is Muhammad's heir, While the Sunni do not recognize Ali as being Prophet Muhammad's rightful successor. The Sunni believe that Prophet Muhammad had no rightful heir.
