    Answer and Explanation:

There are many benefits an employer could derive from seeking out the private internet data of an employee he wishes to hire. First this gives an employer heads up on who he has about to employ: the profile summary of this individual and how it may be relevant for the job in question. Second it enables the employer make prior investigations before the interview of this potential employee by making thorough research to ascertain if the claims on an employee's Curriculum vitae are genuine; does his work and networks on the internet speak for him regarding this role. Third what threats exists around this individual? what do people think about him? Social media and different social networks and job boards leave areas for recommendations from colleagues or previous employers that have worked with this person, giving the employer relevant information that may lead up to more on the qualifications of the interviewee/potential employee, therefore informing his hiring decisions.
