Since the client has lost his leg in accident, he is undergoing the period of bereavement. It is defined as the period of grief and mourning after physical or mental loss of someone or somethings. The grief can be experienced mentally, physically, social or emotional reaction. The mental reactions would include sadness, guilt, anxiety and anger.

The client has lost all confidence and is shattered by the accident. The client is behaving childishly. He should think maturely and find out the ways to stand and do something in life. The child shows emotional behavior by continuous crying. The client also shows psychological behavior by lying in the bed completely thinking he cannot get up now on his legs and has given up all his hope.
