    In support of the constitution, Madison said that power is divided between two distinct governments; these governments meant between Federalism (Federal and State governments) and Branches (which are the legislature, judicial and executive arm).

    He argued that with these distinct government roles, the people will feel safe and there will be checks and balances against a tyrant.
