    The Vocational Rehab Act of 1973 requires employers with federal contracts over $2500 to take affirmative action for the employment of disabled persons.

    Explanation:

    Once the employer registers for a federal contract of more than $2500, it is mandatory for him to make provisions to enable himself to employ disabled persons in his organization. Irrespective of whether or not any disabled candidate qualified enough for working in his organization would approach him for work, he should still make the provisions for employing disabled candidates.
