As a beginning teacher, it's not uncommon to feel overwhelmed by the grade of attention it requires, the preparation, the time, being in the classroom, etc. But, as the time moves forward, experience is gained about how and when to take decisions, the best approach for a particular group of students, what works best and what does not, etc. This, not unlike any other job, comes with time and experience. You can prepare as best you can, but there is no better learning than actually doing it.
