    Girolamo Savonarola had a huge impact on Renaissance.

    Explanation:

    Girolamo Savonarola was an "Italian Dominican" priest. He was also a leader of Florence. The most important reason he was against Renaissance was that he thought it would increase corruption. He also thought it would go against his religious faith and beliefs. He opposed Renaissance in many ways, by book burning and also destructed art that he considered immoral. He strongly preached against the moral corruption which was much prevalent in priesthood during that time. His main enemy was Pope Alexander VI.

    But today thousands of tourists travel to Florence and view see the wonderful art of Renaissance. Italy to view the glorious art of the Renaissance.
