Explanation:
On that date, the El Qaeda terrorist organization launched a series of coordinated attacks on the United States of America. With two passenger planes, the attackers crashed into two towers of the World Trade Center in New York. The third rammed into the Pentagon at the United States Department of Defense headquarters. Some 2700 people were killed in the attack. Most civilized countries in the world condemned the attacks. The attacks involved 19 members of El-Qaeda.
