Japan secretly makes plans to remove U. S. influence from the Pacific: Before the second world war started, the imperialistic regime run by the Japanese Emperor had started working on its wish to establish Japan's dominance over the Pacific ocean and the countries on it. Japan attacks Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, killing more than 2,000 Americans: As a result of the conflict going on between the United States and Japan over dominance in the Pacific, the Japanese Air Force bombed the Pearl Harbor (a part of the Hawaii Islands) and killed several hundred American soldiers on the bases there.
