Sergeant Davis is the head of the drug task force for the local police department. He successfully obtains a warrant to search a suspect's house for two pounds of a highly addictive, illegal substance. During the search, the officers find a cache of weapons that had been reported stolen from the local gun shop two weeks earlier. They pack up all of the weapons as evidence and place the suspected drug dealer under arrest for receiving stolen property. When his case comes to trial, why does the judge throws out the search, the recovery of the weapons, and the arrest? Select all that apply.

The weapons were not a target of the search; illegal drugs were the target.

Those executing a search warrant must have probable cause to believe the items seized in evidence were going to be in the location specified.

The judge erred in dismissing the charges; the search was just fine.

The sergeant did not find any drugs; therefore the search warrant was not valid.
