    The unemployment rate it's calculated with number of people an multiplied by 100 all times, to calculate you have to take the number of unemployed people and divided by the labor force, that is the people that has the demographics conditions to work and that desire to work.

    Unemployment rate = (unemployed number / labor force) * 100

    As you can see it's a proportion of the total labor force in terms of percentage you multiply all times by 100, what mean the 100% its the labor force of the region that you are analysing
