    Civil Disobedience is the act to refuse the laws of the government by the people which they consider unjust. The word civil represent the non-violent nature of the disobedience. It also called passive resistance for the same reason. The civil disobedience movement was used in several nations including the United States to protest against the unfair laws. It was used in the United States in the 1950's against racial segregation and to demands equal rights. It strengthened the belief of people to fight against unfair laws forced on them by a government or higher authority.
