A company sells midlevel models of automobiles in four different styles. A buyer can get an automobile in one of six colors and with either standard or automatic transmission. If a dealer expects to stock at least one automobile in every combination of style, color, and transmission, at a minimum, how many automobiles would he have to stock?

    Explanation:

    At a minimum the dealer expects 4x6x2=48. If the dealer expectations are met, he would have 48 automobles.
