Nick recently broke up with his girlfriend. He was in a serious car accident in which he broke his leg. His car was totaled and he did not have insurance. When he finally returned to work, he had to take a bus because he couldn't afford to buy a car. At work, he keeps to himself and doesn't interact much with others. These are classic signs for the potential for workplace violence requiring immediate invervention before matters escalate to a violent situation.
