    Brown v. Board of Education

    Explanation:

Oliver Brown was said to have sued the Board of Education in Topeka when her daughter was denied admission to a white-dominated elementary school. This, together with other four separate legal suits by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People led to the Supreme Court decision on May 1954 by Justice E. Warren. The decision stated that every form of discrimination in government-owned schools in the area are in violation of the Equal protection clause of the 14th amendment of the constitution.
