Progressive education is a change in the traditional methods of educating students. It revolves around the experiential learning rather than the same traditional rote learning methods that are confined to the text books.

The effects of progressive education are massive on the kindergarten movement. Children from a very young age are taught to learn practically rather than reading it off the books. It gives them a better sense of understanding and the concept tends to retain for longer periods of time. It also boosts confidence among the young lot.
