The power of religion is undeniable, it can shape people, transform or isolate, there are countless possibilities which can be made by religion, so we can understand that religion can affect our values in society.
The studies produced by Weber, however, undoubtedly had greater theoretical and empirical scope. Weber analyzed and compared several religions that existed and still exist in the world, evaluating the role that religious beliefs play in the conduct of individuals in society. On a more general level, the author unveiled the potential that religion has to bring about changes in the social order, whether in the sphere of economics, politics or culture in general.
