    Henry Luce's "The American Century" hailed free economic enterprise.

    Henry Luce was a publisher and a journalist who lived in the 20. century and who in 1941. coined the term the "American Century".

    He predicted that USA should become a world hegemon and forsake the politics of isolationism. He called the US to enter the World War 2 to protect democracy and democratic values.

    He argued that the life of abundance is possible with the achievement of "free economic enterprise".
