What is culture shock?

A culture shock, more often called "cultural schock" is the feeling of shock or surprise that people experience when they are faced with an unfamiliar culture.

For example, some Amazon tribes feel comfortable being naked, but this might be shocking to a European - this is an example of a cultural shock!
