Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a regional holiday in Mexico, primarily celebrated in the state of Puebla, with some limited recognition in other parts of Mexico.

    Are you looking for whether this is true or false? it's true!

    While the schools are closed in the whole of Mexico, the offices can be but don't have to be. It is however a state holiday in Puebla; but not in other parts and the primary celebrations take place in Puebla too.
