    What kind of thinking (convergent, divergent, metacognition) is used in choosing a career?

    Answer - Metacognition

    Covergent Thinking - "the ability to give the "correct" answer to standard questions that do not require significant creativity."

    Divergent Thinking - "is a thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions."

    Metacognition Thinking - "Metacognition is "cognition about cognition", "thinking about thinking", "knowing about knowing", becoming "aware of one's awareness" and higher-order thinking skills."
