Who is the protector and teacher of god's revelation?

I believe the answer is: The church

The church is seen as the preacher of God's teaching, at least from what we see in the bible. But that's being said, the people who had high positions within their churches are also humans, which mean that they had the capacity to do sins just like normal people do.
