The whole brain model is used for analyzing personal and organizational thinking. It illustrates that the human brain has four quadrants used for thinking with each quadrant by different thinking and learning styles.

These four thinking styles originate in the brain's left and right cerebral hemispheres, and in the left and right half limbic system thereby causing different and distinct behavioral characteristics in human beings. Everybody uses the four quadrants but some people rely on one quadrant while others two, three or even the four quadrants. The quadrants are:

Quadrant A associated with logical thinking, analysis of facts and processing numbers. Quadrant B associated with planning, organization and review of facts. Quadrant C associated with interpersonal relationships Quadrant D associated with conceptualizing and synthesizing facts.
