    Eye witness testimony is simply defined as when one stands as a witness in court, police station and others as a witness to a crime that has occurred and he/she is called upon to give his/her account of the incidence/story.

    Many do consider the testimony of an eye witness very seriously in convicting a crime but studies has shown that there are a lot of misinformation due to some psychological factors like stress, anxiety, reconstructive memory, leading question e. t. c.
