Charlie writes a will leaving all of his belongings to his wife. After Charlie's wife dies, his daughter, Marie, invites Charlie to come live with her. Charlie has his lawyer draw up a new will leaving everything to Marie, except for $1 which he left to his son Stephen "who never visits me." Shortly after, Marie goes with Charlie to his lawyer's office, where Marie and Charlie's lawyer witness Charlie sign the will. Charlie's daughter never read the new will and is shocked when she learns of her inheritance after her father's death. Stephen, however, is outraged.
