What do the experiences of Genie and Victor demonstrate about language acquisition?

Adults learn languages better because they have lived longer.

    The experiences of Genie and Victor demonstrate about language acquisition that people have a critical period of time when they best learn language.

    Genie was a feral child who had suffered extreme child abuse on the part of her father. Due to having been subjected to total social isolation since her birth, Genie remained unable to fully acquire a first language. Sadly becoming a living proof that there is a critical period or window of time to acquire a language.
