Freedom was essential to the natives because lit gave them the right to be heard, express their feelings, carry out their rights, for instance, voting and many other benefits that come to a free world.
When a country gives, its citizen's freedom, it means even when choosing a leader and the citizens will rightfully exercise their duties by voting and selecting leaders of their choice who they believe in. The native had the opportunity of carrying out their business without fear of being discriminated in any form.
