Teen mothers are only at a financial disadvantage while their children are small. Teen mothers usually make poor financial decisions in all areas of their lives. Teen mothers are at a disadvantage that could affect lifetime earning potential. Teen mothers are not capable of getting and keeping a job or continuing their education.
