When the fathers of nations made the constitution of USA, by the end of July 1788, 11 states had ratified the Constitution but the new government could not go into effect due to criticism from some states but as soon as the new Congress met, the legislature, under the leadership of Madison, prepared 10 "amendments," or additions, to the Constitution. They were all approved by 1791 and became known as the Bill of Rights. They are also considered as the first amendments made in the US constitution It protects five of the most basic liberties. They are freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition the government to right wrongs.

The bill of rights is the founding freedoms and principles of the United States of America.
Explanation
This Bill protects the freedom of religion, the feedom of speech, the freedom of press, the freedom of assembly and the freedom to petition the government to right wrong. Observing these Five pillars, it is evident that the bill of rights adovates for individuals' freedom on matters of worshiping, expressing their views on matters provided they donot hurt others, getting information on what is happening in the country, socialize and join clubs/parties with differrent views and on teeling the government what they think is right. All these lay a foundation for well being of a citizen stressing that the ultimate power is the people.
