Understanding the process of cause and effect provides a clearer approach toward reaching the expected outcome when someone is studying the environment.

    Explanation:

Environmental study especially when it is associated with studies on archeology, geology and other science of the environment, demand that one acquires a sound knowledge of some or all of the causes of what cause the environment to change or remain unchanged from a particular time to date.
