They both allow their citizens to vote at age 18. They both have a parliament as part of their legislative branch. They both, as of today, have a parliamentary democracy.

Both Israel and Turkey have a parliament, and are parliamentary democracies. However, the leader of Israel is the prime minister, while Turkey recently transitioned to a presidential system. Also, Israel's legislative branch is bicameral (two chambers), while Turkey's is unicameral (one chamber, which is the parliament).

Additionally, both countries give the right to vote to citizens over the age of 18. However, in the case of Israel, Palestinians living in the non-annexed parts of the West Bank do not have full citizenship rights and cannot vote in elections.
