A is likely not covered by the Statute of Frauds as the Statute of Frauds does not cover goods sold that are worth less than 500 dollars.

Since we do not know how much the textbook cost but can presume (and hope) that it cost less than 500 dollars, it would not be covered by the Statute of Frauds.
