General assembly members in Georgia are allowed to serve for as many terms as they can win election. until they can no longer perform the duties. a maximum of five terms, each lasting two years. a maximum of two terms, each lasting four years.

    Assembly members serve two years but there is no limit to the number of re-elections they may serve.
