With what does the major moral theory known as deontological ethics primarily concern itself?

    Deontology judges the rightness or wrongness of a deed based on rules or duties and obligations. It judges the morality of an action based on a moral code. It focuses on the morality of an action itself as opposed to the consequences as is the case for consequentialism.
