Jody wants to see if she can get the same results that Milgram saw in his obedience study.     Replication-extension studies are studies that consult prior studies and combine their results with new studies with the aim of replicating and extending the results of prior studies. This is seen with Jody above trying to replicate milgram's study. This type of studies have many advantages over the traditional single-study designs which is majorly the fact that misleading findings from prior studies can be exposed
