After World War II, the United States promised to protect Japan in case of war. Japan was able to spend money to improve its economy instead of paying for a military force. How did this have a major effect on the U. S. economy?

    Both United States and Japan had an advantage. Japan was able to fix their economy and become ally with the united states. The united states got to trade with japan rich resources and increase their economy.
