    The removal of fish from a body of water at such pace that they can't replenish in time, with that species getting underpopulated in that area is called Overfishing.

    And happens when the proportion of captured fish is bigger than the fish population can restore by natural reproduction

    Overfishing is basically cutting back the supply of fish by fishing too much; and off course, this has impacts on the rest of the marine ecosystem.
